The Frank Fisher Studio Houses, designed in 1938 by architect Andrew Rebori, are one of Chicago's finest early modern residential buildings. The building's 12 apartments are arranged along a private courtyard and feature handcrafted ornament by artist Edgar Miller. Join us for a special tour of Fisher's own duplex apartment, the largest in the complex, that features echoes of European modernism with curved glass block walls and unexpected interior volumes.
The tour will begin outside the house promptly at 10 a.m. Interior photography is permitted.
